Oregon OSHA’s latest issue of their Health and Safety Resource newsletter is hot off the press! This edition features articles about accident reporting and some often-overlooked recordkeeping requirements, as well as other tips for your safety program.
One item that is easily forgotten this time of year is the requirement to post the OSHA 300-A, which is a summary of last years’ OSHA 300 log. Post the 300-A by February 1 through April 30 if you have 11 or more employees. The appropriate manager must sign and date the report.
Oregon OSHA has several events the agency is either producing or attending in Oregon this spring. You’ll find them advertised on the first few pages of the magazine. If you have continuing education requirements coming up, make sure if you attend you receive a course completion certificate. Many of their trainings can be used to meet your continuing education requirements.
Don’t forget to check out our classes for upcoming continuing education as well. You can call or text Koleena at 360.521.6668 to find out if our trainings will meet your continuing education requirements.
